I also tried WinRAR - with the same result. Except that it gave an extra error-message, that said that there is a CRC-Error and that the rar-files are corrupted.

The rar-files simply are somewhat corrupted and therefore the extracted (but corrupt) file is deleted immediately and thus disappears.
